Just at the start of the Kilkee Cliff Walk (part of the Kilkee South looped walks), go down the steps from the car park and you will find the most amazing swimming place.<\/p>\n

The Pollock Holes are lovely, clear sea pools uncovered when the tide is out. They are thought to be 320 million years old formations and akin to the eighth wonder of the world. While the Atlantic waves may beat on the rocks a hundred yards beyond you, the pools themselves are usually calm and protected.
