<\/p>\nWe have movement on Loop Head. We now can travel within our county. If we have learned anything during this time of lock down and isolation, it is the importance of the things that money can\u2019t buy. The space to breathe. Seeing friends and family \u2013 and your health.<\/p>\n
There is a definite air of optimism spreading over the Loop Head peninsula. Restaurants and hotels are working out the spacing between the tables ready for when they can open again. The activity providers are also working out their options. We are all deciding the best way to keep visitors, themselves and staff, safe.<\/p>\n
To be able to open up some of our business in July, will be wonderful. There will still be an opportunity for our visitors to enjoy the summer here. We have had some glorious weather during our time staying at home. All those jobs we have been putting off have been done.<\/p>\n

Even the cattle are wondering why it is so quiet.<\/p>\n

We are ready to welcome you, when you can get here. Whether it will be this year or next, you know you will be oh so welcome. We know very many of you have had to re book your planned holidays for next year. For those of you who can still visit this year, we are hoping to extend our season into October to accommodate those that can\u2019t book into accommodation as it is already booked up for July and August. September and October can be great months on Loop Head.<\/p>\n
Yes, we can have storms \u2013 great to watch from a cosy warm pub or restaurant. We also have the most wonderful sunny days too. And then there are the night skies. We have such big open skies here on the Loop, with very little light pollution. The Autumn is a wonderful time to get out and walk along the Kilkee Cliffs<\/a> or around Loop Head by the lighthouse<\/a>. There are also the\u00a0 The West Clare Walking Trails<\/a>. And if you want to explore the whole of Loop Head – then The Heritage Trail<\/a> is for you.<\/p>\n Whenever you travel to Loop Head, we have the space, the scenery and the fresh air.
