Basking Sharks observed feeding off Kilkee coastline < Back

Up to 20 basking sharks were observed by various different visitors in the waters near Kilkee last week (April 10th) . The Clare Herald give a report here.

Gentle Giants of the Sea growing up to sometimes 12 metres long, they have a diet of plankton and tiny fish, lucky for us 🙂 not the tiny fish 🙂
